The Interfaith Alliance of the Bluegrass

How You Can Help with Afghanistan Relocation

The Interfaith Alliance of the Bluegrass encourages two primary ways to help with the numerous needs of Afghanistan refugees who have been relocated to Fayette County. In addition to the co-sponsorship programs many local congregations have established, these opportunities provide ways individuals and families can reach out and help without making the full commitment that co-sponsorship requires.

Kentucky Refugee Ministries

This agency is the traditional program that is best known to handle issues of new refugees and immigrant resettlement in our state. It is recommended for those who wish to make a more significant and long term commitment to volunteer service.
