Last Tuesday we held a screening of the new Baptist Women in Ministry's documentary, Midwives of a Movement. This thought-provoking movie led to a meaningful conversation after. Originally, we were hosting this screening as a form of peaceful protest against the Southern Baptist Convention's upcoming vote on disfellowshipping churches with female ministers. However, the next day, June 11th, the SBC voted against that resolution! If you missed the event and would like to watch it, here is the link to the movie, Midwives of a Movement
