The Transition Development Committee has been working for several months to find a candidate for our Part Time Intentional Interim position. While this part time position will involve preaching up to two times a month, the primary responsibility of the Intentional Interim Minister will be to guide us through the process of understanding our congregational identity and discerning our vision for the future. This is an important part of helping us determine who will be the best fit for our next minister.
After much work, we are pleased to present Carrol Wilson as the candidate for our Part Time Intentional Interim Minister position.
Carrol comes to us from the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship in her current role as Manager of Chaplaincy and Pastoral Counseling Ministries. She is also Associate Minister at New Morning Light Baptist Church in Conley, GA. She has a robust background in pastoral care, chaplaincy and community engagement. We discovered Carrol through the Center for Congregational Health where she became a Certified Intentional Interim Minister in November of 2023. As an added bonus, Carrol is from right here in Lexington, Kentucky. She is a proud graduate of Lafayette High School, and her parents are still here in town.
Carrol will introduce herself to the congregation on Sunday and talk about her calling to Central Baptist Church and her plans to help guide us through this interim process. After our church service on Sunday, she will be available for a meet and greet in the foyer with some time for questions and answers as well. Please give Carrol a great Central Baptist Welcome!

Your Sistaah shared. I am so proud of your many accomplishments. Continue to persevere. God has your back. Follow His lead. All of my setbacks were setups for comebacks. God in His infinite power has truly placed His loving arms of protection around you. Be vigilant. Nothing replaces commonsense. I love you. Looking forward to 75 in "25".
