On March 19 and 26, Diane Campbell will lead an exploration of Mary Oliver's poetry and spirituality.  Mary Oliver (1935-2019) is a well-known American poet whose work is mainly about nature and her communion with it, but much of it also shows her sense of humans and the natural world as being profoundly spiritual. We will concentrate on several poems from her Devotions: The Selected Poems of Mary Oliver, which contains poems selected from all her poetry books. Among the poems we'll discuss are "The Summer Day" and "Wild Geese," two of her most famous poems.  We'll also consider "Logos," and "Sometimes." You can find these poems in the previous links, or you can purchase the book yourself.  We'll have a few copies for purchase in the church foyer. You don't need to have read in advance to join in this discussion of the entrancing work of this beloved poet.  You can also join via Zoom.  Meeting links will be provided in upcoming newsletters.
