Central Baptist Church will be having a screening of the Baptist Women in Ministry's new documentary, Midwives of a Movement, on June 11th at 12:30pm in Meeting Room 1. Lunch will be provided.
On June 11th and 12th of this year, the Southern Baptist Convention will be voting to disfellowship churches where women serve as pastors of all kinds. As a form of peaceful protest and a way to stand with all Baptist women in ministry, we will be screening a documentary about women who stood up against the SBC's misogyny nearly 50 years ago.
