Join us in the Living Well class as Hannah James leads Women with Visions. This two part course will be a sequel to our earlier course Women on Trial. We will continue our reflection on the relationship between religion, politics, and gender in American history, but with some new case studies. In these classes, we discuss the role of visions in American religious history, and how many women and other marginalized folks used their claims of divine visions to acquire authority in their religious communities.
