Join us this Sunday for worship in person or online to celebrate the fourth Sunday of Advent. This week we celebrate the love of Advent as we welcome Rachel Smith Childress as our guest preacher. Rachel has been part of the Central family for many years. We are always grateful to hear from Rachel after her move to Franklin, TN. Rachel grew up as a “preacher’s kid”, primarily in Louisville, Ky. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Kentucky. Her graduate work was done at Lexington Theological Seminary where she earned an MA and did some post degree work. After working in the public sector, private sector and higher education, Rachel began her ministry at Lexington Habitat for Humanity in 2006 where she retired as CEO in 2021.
