As we journey to the Cross this Lenten Season, the Worship Committee invites you to share a cross for our Lenten Cross display. Unlike the quilt display that we shared and enjoyed throughout the Foyer and Sanctuary in late Fall, this display will be a tabletop display in a special place in the Church’s South Wing – the Lenten Prayer Room where the Lenten Contemplative Service will take place. The cross can be a stand-alone wooden, metal or ceramic cross, a picture or painting that hangs on the wall, a sketch or any other cross of any material that you have. Please attach a note with your name and a description or history of the cross and why it is meaningful to you.
Crosses for the display will be collected during the weeks of March 3 and March 10. We will take good care of the cross, display it and the story for others to enjoy and reflect upon and return it to you after Easter. Thanks in advance for your participation in our Lenten Cross display.
