All are welcome to join a the CBC Boomers tour the new warehouse and administrative office of God's Pantry Food Bank. We'll meet at 10:30 at 2201 Innovation Drive. The new 127,000 square foot God's Pantry facility will address critical infrastructure needs, enabling the Food Bank to expand from its current capacity of 38.9 million meals (FY 2024) to meet the current demand of 50 million meals and future needs of up to 60 million meals. It will support over 500 partner agencies in 50 KY counties. Included is an updated office area, expanded shipping and receiving offices, capacity for a production kitchen, and an improved reception area. Also included is an expanded freezer and cooler space, a produce cooler, and a conditioned receiving dock. Following the tour, we'll have lunch nearby — probably at Sedona Taphouse on Newtown Road.
