Be a part of our joint worship with the good folks at Wesley United Methodist Church
In an effort to improve race relations and to strengthen the body of Christ, Central Baptist Church will be joining with the congregation of Wesley United Methodist Church on Russell Cave Road for their regular Sunday morning worship service at 11 a.m. on January 17. Sunday school classes are welcome to meet at our building and are encouraged to be finished by 10:30 a.m. in order to provide time for travel. If you need a ride or can provide a ride for others, please plan on meeting at the church no later than 10:30 a.m. and sign up through the church office or by using the sign-up table in the foyer. Mark Johnson will be preaching. You can give your regular offering to Central dropping it off in our foyer or giving it directly to the office. The offering taken at Wesley that morning will benefit that congregation. Plan on being a part of this historic service where new and renewed friendships will be established with our neighbors on the north end of Lexington in our focused celebration of the Martin Luther King Jr. weekend.
