The Boomers are touring Makers Mark Distillery and it's blown glass exhibit. Dale Chihuly is an American glass artist and entrepreneur, known for his large scale blown glass sculptures. The Chihuly x Maker’s Mark exhibit features nine dramatic installations across the distillery grounds, including both new and permanent works. Tickets for the exhibit are $26 per person and do NOT include a tour of the distillery or lunch. Jane will purchase our reserved tickets ahead of time and you can reimburse her. The Chihuly experience is an a "at your own pace" walking tour involving both indoor and outdoor spaces. The distance is about 1/2 mile and there is no seating along the path. We'll have lunch at the Star Hill Provisions restaurant on site. Maker's Mark is approximately one hour and 15 minutes from Lexington. We'll plan to arrive at 10:30 am and return about 3:30 or 4:00 pm. Please let Jane Tatum or Pat Ingram know by September 17th if you plan to attend.
