Bread for the World Letter Campaign

As people of faith, we are called to give of our time, talent, and treasure for a greater purpose. Bread for the World invites you to use your voice to help end hunger. Every year, Bread for the World organizes churches, community organizations, and people of faith from across the country to write letters and emails to their members of Congress who have the power to impact the policies and programs that can end hunger. By taking part in this offering of letters during March, you will help support domestic and international nutrition programs Your letter matters. Combined with others from your church, campus, or organization—and joined with the voices of thousands of advocates across the country—your letter or email is an expression of faith and hope, urging U.S. decision makers to pursue a world without hunger.

Bread for the World is a Christian advocacy organization urging U.S. decision makers to do all they can to pursue a world without hunger. Their mission is to educate and equip people to advocate for policies and programs that can help end hunger in the U.S. and around the world.

During the Fellowship Meal on March 29, information will be available on the tables for you to write a letter and turn it into the office for mailing. You are always encouraged to write a letter on your own time. A sample letter is here. Or send an email to your congressperson through the Bread for the World website here.
