CBC Boomers at Gatton Park

CBC Boomers will visit Gatton Park in downtown Lexington next to the Central Bank Center on Thursday, June 11 at 11:00 a.m. We'll meet with Erica Cook, the Park's Director of Programs and Engagement, to learn about the park's history and take a short walk with her, then explore on our own before lunch. (Lunch plans to be announced.)

Parking: On-street spaces are available near the park, or use the public lot at Main Street Baptist Church, which has a walkway leading directly into Gatton Park (lot fee applies; the park is free). The park is fully accessible — ramps, smooth sidewalks, and benches throughout. We'll meet Erica in the shaded seating area behind the amphitheater stage.
