Join us for worship this Sunday at 11 a.m. as we welcome Larry Gray as our guest preacher.  Larry and Mary Ida were members of Central Baptist Church from 1992-2012. They live in Crestwood, Kentucky where they entertain their children and 12 grandkids and friends (If they could get them to visit).

Larry W. Gray is president of Baptist Health Louisville, a 519-bed hospital that serves residents of Central Kentucky and Southern Indiana. The hospital is a member of the Baptist Health System in Kentucky.  He served on the executive team of Baptist Health Lexington and as president of Baptist Health Corbin before moving to Louisville in 2018.

Mr. Gray holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Kentucky, a master of divinity degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a master’s degree in health administration (MHA) from the University of Kentucky. He has served as adjunct faculty in the MHA program at the University of Kentucky since 2002.

Larry returned to the board of the Baptist Seminary of Kentucky this month. Previously he served BSK for four terms (12 years), and served as Board Chair in two terms.  He chaired the President Search Committee for the seminary, which led to successful recruitment of the new president.
