If you've not had the time, there is still an opportunity to read this statement initiated by the Baptist Joint Committee and joined by leaders from many of the Baptist entities we support including the Alliance of Baptists, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, and Ethics Daily. Other prominent Christian leaders and organizations have added their voice of support and you may too. I signed the statement and welcome your additional participation. In the comments section, you can add the reason why you would sign the statement. I wrote, "fidelity to Christ above all." It is destructive to the call of Christ when the worldwide mission of God's love is reduced and identified with one country.
