Easter has come and gone and we now walk in the full light of Jesus' resurrection. The victory lap had been taken and we are filled with the joy of God's glad yes to our Lord's message of wholeness, healing, liberation, and justice. But the work must continue. Jesus promised his Spirit to accompany our continued ministry in his name. As we seek to apply his teachings, we leave the celebration and roll up our sleeves to get back to work. This Sunday, we will think about the challenge of building unity in a diverse culture. How can we help all feel valued and included without surrendering to the danger of everyone becoming their own source of authority? How can we hold all things in common? Join us as we open up these questions and seek to continue the mission of Jesus for our day and time.
