As we begin our wrap-up on this summer of gratitude, we find ourselves leaning into the powerful instructions found at the end of chapter 4 in Ephesians. In a world of dominating individualism and self-absorbed selfishness, we are called as God's people into the vulnerable and blessed joy of belonging together. Our reference point is relying not upon ourselves, but completely and sincerely upon the love of God, modeled in Christ and empowered by the Spirit. In this transforming relationship, we grow more capable to view ourselves more clearly, love one another more profoundly and offer our gratitude more deeply.
