This Sunday we will consider how we hear and respond the call of God. As we contemplate the calling stories of both Samuel and the disciples we will find that the divine invitation often comes in strangely ordinary experiences. The call of God may lead us through rush-hour traffic, lengthy checkout lines and heaps of paperwork, but even in the midst of these mundanities, God brings new life and possibilities. Join us as we ruminate on God's work in our lives as we move into a new year.
