A service of Light is based on the ancient practice of an Easter Vigil in which Christians gathered in the darkness of Saturday night to tell the story of God's work through Christ as they awaited the light of Easter morning. The service culminates with a celebration of the gift of Risen Jesus. We will share scripture and songs pointing to Jesus as the Light of the world. Children will help lead in worship during this service and Mark Johnson will be preaching, along with Crystal Shepherd offering a meditation.
