This Sunday we continue our celebration of the Light. In this season of long nights and short days, we cherish the brightness of the saving work of God, brought forth as a baby in the humblest of circumstances. As we remember the seekers who journeyed from far off to bring their welcome to the Christ child, we remember that the gift of God was not only for us but for the whole world. May we learn from these seekers to open our eyes to the redeeming work of God in the world around us, so that we might also carry the light. This sermon is by Rev. Crystal Shepherd.
